No Family Should Go to Bed Hungry

Food insecurity in rural Pakistan is a silent crisis. Seasonal droughts, floods, and poverty leave thousands of families without enough to eat. SialCare’s food programs provide immediate relief and long-term food security.

 

Programs under this cause:

• Monthly Ration Package — A one-month supply of essential food items for one family: rice, flour, oil, lentils, sugar, and spices. Cost: $35 per family per month.
• School Meal Program — Children receive a nutritious meal at school daily. This also increases attendance dramatically. Sponsor a child’s meals for just $1/day.
• Ramadan Food Drive — Our biggest annual campaign. We distribute iftar packages, sehri kits, and Eid hampers to hundreds of families. Donations peak during Ramadan.
• Community Kitchen (Langar) — A permanent daily kitchen serving orphans, widows, and daily wagers in rural areas. Sponsor one day’s langar for $40.
